A ship moving with a constant acceleration of 36 km/h in a fixed direction speeds up from 18 km/h to 36km/h. Find the distance travelled by the ship in this period.​

here \\ \\   v = 36 km/h

 u = 18 km/h

a = 36  \: km/h²

therefore \\  \\ 36 {}^{2}  - 18 {}^{2}  = 2 \times 36 \times s \\ s = 972 \div 72 = 13.5 \: km
