A ship of mass 3 into 10 to the power 7 kg is at rest. It is then pulled to 3 M by applying a force of 5 into 10 to the power 4 newton. If friction of water is negligible, then find speed of the ship.

Hope this helps By the formula F=ma we get  5*10^4=3*10^7*a By solving this we get a=1.667*10^-3m/s^2 which is equal to  0.001667 By equation 2as=v^2-u^2 we get  2*0.001667*3=v^2-0 (intially at rest) v^2=0.01 hence  V=0.1m/s
