given:

time=3.42 sec

speed=1531 m/s

distance =?

solution:-

        2d=v x t

        2d= 1531 x 3.42

         2d= 52360.2

         d= 5236.02/2

          d= 2618.01 (m)

Given,

1)Speed of ultrasound = 1531 m/s

2)Time take by ultrasound = 3.42 sec.

Speed=Distance/Time

Speed*Time=Distance

(put up the values.)

1531*3.42=Distance

Distance=5236.02 meter.
