A ship sends ultrasonic waves that return from the sea bed and is detected after 2.80 seconds . If the speed o ultrasound through the sea water is 1531 meter per second ,what is the DISTANCE of the sea bed from the ship.

SPEED = 1531 M/S

DISTANCE= ?

SPEED = DISTANCE / TIME

DISTANCE = SPEED X TIME

1531 X 2.80

=4286.8
