The cost price of the shirt is ₹ 120.53

Given data :

Selling price = ₹135

Profit percentage = 12%

Let,the cost price = ₹x

So,profit will be = (x × 12/100) = ₹ 3x/25

We know that ,

Cost price + profit = selling price

So,

x+ 3x/25 = 135

28x/25 = 135

x = 135 × 25/28

x = 120.53 (approx.) (Answer)
