A shoopkeeper brought sports material cost rupees 1120 and sold it on rupees 1320. Find out the percentage of profit ?

CP = ₹ 1120

SP = ₹ 1320

Since SP > CP, profit

Profit = SP – CP

= ₹ ( 1320 – 1 120 )

= ₹ 200

profit \: \% = \frac{profit \: \times \: 100}{cp} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{200 \times 100}{1120} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 7whole 6/17

Hence, profit % = 7whole 6/17%
