Solution:

Given marked price of an

item(m.p) = Rs 1250

discount ( d ) = 12½ % = 12.5 %

selling price ( s.p ) = m.p[ (100 - d)/100]

= 1250 × [ (100-12.5)/100 ]

= 1250 × (87.5/100)

= 125 × 8.75

= Rs 1093.75

Therefore ,

Selling price of the item = Rs 1093.75

Hey there!

Answer:

Selling Price(S.P) = Rs. 1093.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Marked Price(M.P)= Rs. 1250

Discount(D) = 12.5 %

Selling Price(S.P) = M.P{(100-D)/100}

                            = 1250 × [ (100 - 12.5) / 100 ]

                             = 1250 × (87.5 / 100)

                            = 125 × 8.75

                            = Rs. 1093.75

Hope It Helps You!
