here's your answer, grab it

and I also have a question-

BRAIN DEAD?????? ;)

GIVEN -

SALE / DISCOUNT- 10%

COST OF THE PURSE AFTER DISCOUNT - £4.42

let the actual price of purse be x

after giving the discount of 10% on the actual price-

= x - (X * 10%)

= x - (X * 10/100)

= x - (X/10)

= 9x/10

according to the question the value 9X/10 is equal to given price of the purse that is £ 4.42 .

Equation-

9x/10 = 4.42

9x = 44.2

x = 4.911

we got the answer that is equal to £ 4.9111.
