  • As per the data given in the question, we have to determine the required number.

             Given data:- A shopkeeper bought a bicycle for Rs.3000.

                                  and sold the same for Rs.3400.

             To find:- Calculate profit.

             Solution:-

              \text { Cost price }= 3000Rs.\\\text { Selling price }= 3400Rs.\\

             Therefore, we get

         \text { Profit = Selling price - Cost price }

                \text { Profit }= 3400-3000\\\text { Profit }=400\ Rs.

           Hence shopkeeper get 4000\ Rs. profit.
