A shop keeper buys three articles for Rs 375, Rs 580 and Rs 428 respectively. He is able to sell these articles for Rs 436, Rs 635 and Rs 350 respectively. Find the gain or loss to the shopkeeper on the whole

Sp of the article =436+635+350=1421
Cp of the article=375+580+428=1383
So is greater than cp
It means profit
Profit =1421-1383=38

hey mate here is your answer......

one article:-Rs 375 and sells for :-Rs 436
375 - 436=61
his profit -Rs 61

second article -Rs580 sells for Rs 635
Rs 635-Rs 580=Rs 55
profit=Rs55

here is loss because third article bought for rupees 428 but he sold for rupees 350
428-350=rs 88
loss of rs 88.

therefore profit of 61+55=rs116
and loss of rs 88.
respectively....
