A shop selling sewing machines offers 3% discount on all cash purchases.
so loss% is 3%

it is given marked price is 650
so cost price=650

selling price=[c.p*100-loss%/100]
                     =
[650*100-3/100]
                       =[650*97%/100]
=630.50

Discount is 3%. MP is 650.

SP= MP-(3/100 x 650)

650-19.50

=Rs 630.50
