A shop sells a 450g bottle of jam for rs96 and a 600g bottle of jam for 120 rs. Which of the bottles is more profitable to buy? (Use the hcf of 450 and 600 to compared the prices)​

Solution:

50 g of jam bottle A is equal to = \frac{96}{9}

50 g of jam bottle A is equal to Rs.10.6

300 g of jam bottle A is equal to Rs.63.6

600 g of jam bottle B is equal to Rs.120

300 g of jam bottle B is equal to Rs.60

Result:

B jam bottle is more profitable to buy, because it cost less than the A jam bottle.
