Total rice = x kg
1st costumer buys x/2 kg of rice.
2nd costumer buys (x/2)/2 = x/4 kg of rice.
3rd costumer buys (x/4)/2 = x/8 + 1/2 kg of rice.
A/q
x/2+ x/4 + x/8 +1/2= x
(4x+2x+x4)/8 = x
7x +4 = 8x
8x-7x = 4
x= 4
Total rice = 4kg
