if he sells 50 pens

his profit= 50×2= 100Rs.

{1Rs. = 100p

100Rs. = 10000p}

loss on selling 1 pencil = 25p

then

the loss of 10000p

will be on

selling 10000/25 =400 pencils.

answer = he sold 400 pencils.
