A shopkeeper allows 25% discount on the marked price of his article and still makes a profit of 32%. if his gain over the sale of article is rs 600, find the marked price of the article.

profit= 32%=Rs. 600

so, cost price =600/32*100=Rs.1875

and sales price = 600 + 1875=2475 Rs

discount= 25% of marked price

so sales price =[100-25]%=75% of marked price

marked price = 2475/75*100

marked price= 3300
