Assuming article is sold at 460 before discount of 8%

Calculating marked price:

8% discount - 36.8 rs
Marked Price = 460-36.8 = 423.2

Marked price is 15% higher than than the cost price.

(423.2-x)/x * 100 = 15

X = 368

Cost Price is 368

Answer:

mp = 500, cp= 400

Step-by-step explanation:

sp = 460

discount%= 8

mp = 100 / 100-8 *460

mp = 500

cp = sp *100/100 + p%

cp = 460*100/100 + 15

cp = 400
