A shopkeeper arranged similar bottled drinks on 20 shelves. There was an
equal number of bottles on each shelf. 6 shelves were removed and the
bottled drinks on these shelves were placed on the remaining 14 shelves.
Because of this, the number of bottled drinks on each remaining shelf
increased by 3.
What was the total number of bottled drinks at first?

Answer:

their is 140 drink bottles

at first on each shelf their is 7

then on each shelf their is 10

Step-by-step explanation:

when 140 / 20 it is 7

then 7 bottles per shelf at first then when 6 shelves removed

7 x 6 = 42 bottles are remaining so when we divide 42 by 14 each shelf will get added with 3 bottles.
