A shopkeeper borrowed Rs 25000 from his friend for a period of 2 yrs. Find the interest which he has to pay, if the rate of interest is 2% per annum?

principle = rs. 25000
time = 2 years
rate =- 2 %
simple interest = (25000*2*2)/100
= rs. 1000

t=2years
r=2%
SI=ptr
    =25000*2*2/100
     =250*4
      =1000

Unisa: principle or p = Rupee. 25000/-
Time period or t = 2 years

simple interest = (25000*2*2)/100
= rs. 1000
