50,000÷100=500

so,shopkeeper bought each jeans rs=500

so,profit=S.P-CP

profit=550×100-50,000

profit=55,000-50,000

profit=500

profit percentage= Profit/CP×100

profit percentage= 500/50,000×100

profit percentage=1%is the correct answer
