Solution:

Cloth  purchased  by  a  shopkeeper  =  128  m  8 cm

Cloth  damaged  =  58  m  80  cm

Cloth   in  good  condition  =  ?

1  m  =  100  cm

128  m  = ?

128 × 100 = 12800

12800 + 8 =12808  cm

58 × 100  + 80

5800+80 = 5880 cm

∴ Cloth  which  is  in good condition = 12808 - 5880 = 6928
