If 150 oranges had bought for Rs.900 then 1 orange cost
=900÷150
=₹6
If he sold 100 oranges for Rs.5 each means 100 oranges is sold for = 100×5 = ₹500
And 50 oranges for Rs. 7 each means 50 oranges is sold for = 50×7 =₹350
Hence,total cost = ₹900
And total sale = 500+350 = ₹850
So profit = 900 - 850 = -50 (loss) [because it is negative]
