Answer:

Profit is 1.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

A shopkeeper Bought 2 LCD sets at rs 21,600 each.

CP=21600

He sold one at a profit of 8%

SP=((100+gain)*CP)/100

SP=((100+8)*21600)/100

SP=23328

other one at a loss of 5%

SP=((100-loss)*CP)/100

SP=((100-5)*21600)/100

SP=20520

Total CP of 2 LCD sets are 21600*2=43200

Total SP of 2 LCD sets are   23328+20520=43848

SP is greater than CP so there will be profit

Profit=((SP-CP)/CP)*100

Profit=((43848-43200)/43200)*100

Profit=648/432

Profit=1.5%
