1 Dozen pencil = $15
20 Dozen pencil = 15 × 20
240 pencil = $300
CP : 240 pencil = $ 300
SP1 : for 100 pencil,
4 pencil = $6
1 pencil = (6÷4)
100 pencil = 100 × (6÷4) = $150
SP2 : remaining pencil = 140
1 pencil = $2
140 pencil = $280
Total SP = 150+280=430
profit% = ((430-300)÷300)×100 = 43.33%
20 Dozen pencil = 15 × 20
240 pencil = $300
CP : 240 pencil = $ 300
SP1 : for 100 pencil,
4 pencil = $6
1 pencil = (6÷4)
100 pencil = 100 × (6÷4) = $150
SP2 : remaining pencil = 140
1 pencil = $2
140 pencil = $280
Total SP = 150+280=430
profit% = ((430-300)÷300)×100 = 43.33%
