CP of one bottle= Rs 40
CP of 50 bottles=50*Rs 40= Rs 2000
5 are defective=50-5=45 bottles
SP of one defective bottle= Rs 35
SP of 5 defective bottles=5*Rs 35= Rs 175
SP of one good bottle=Rs 48
SP of 45 good bottles = 45* Rs 48= Rs 2160
profit=Rs (2160+175)-Rs 2000=Rs 2335- Rs 2000=Rs 335
profit percent=Rs (335/2000)*100=16 1/4 percent
