Strykar: Bro he purchased 50 dozen banana so how can u Calculate on 44 dozens to get profit of 10% on "whole" transaction.
sanu106: because 6 dozens of bananas are rotten
Strykar: yes but we need to find profit on whole transactions--> we will have to find profit on 50 dozens 2500 not on 44 dozens 2200

Total price at which he purchased 50 dozen banana = 50*50=2500
72 banana are rotten ==> 6 dozens are rotten
now he is left with 44 dozens to be sold
Now 2500/100*110=2750 To earn 10 % profit he will have to sell 44 dozen at 2750
Therefore 2750/44= 62.5
Rs 62.5--> at which he will sell banana per dozen to earn 10 % profit.
