cost price of 50 shirts = rupees 30000

cp of 1 shirt = 30000÷50 = 600

cp of 10 shirts who were defective= 10×600

= 6000

loss of 10% on 10 shirts = 6000×10/100

= 600

sp of 10 shirts after the loss of 10% = 6000 - 600

=5400

According to question,

remaining shirts =50-10

= 40

gain of 30% on whole transaction = (30% of 30000) +30000

=( 30/100×30000) + 30000

= 9000 +30000

= 39000

now, he sell the remaining shirts after the gain of 30% on whole transaction = 39000-5400

= 33600

sp of 40 shirts = 33600

sp of one shirt = 33600/40

= 840
