Solution:

shopkeeper bought 500 eggs for Rs 400

=> Cost price = Rs 400

earn a profit of Rs 60.

Sell price = Cost Price + Profit

=> Sell Price = 400 + 60

=> Sell Price = 460 Rs

40 eggs of them got broken.

Eggs Remaining = 500 - 40 = 460

Sell price of one egg = 460/460 = 1 Rs

he should sell each egg = 1 Rs
