CP of 6dozen (12x6 = 72eggs) eggs = 50 x 6 = Rs.300 ...(1)

Remaining eggs = 72 - 6 = 66eggs

Sp of 66eggs = a

a/300  x  100 = 110

a = 110 x 3  = 330

SP of 66 eggs = Rs. 330

SP for one egg = 330/66 = Rs.5

Answer:

one egg Rs.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

one dozen = 12 eggs

Cp of 6 dozen = 12×6

= 72 eggs

50×6 = Rs. 300

Remaining eggs = 72-6

= 66 eggs

SP of 66 eggs = x (10%)

x/300×100 = 110

x = 110×3 =330

SP of 66 eggs =RS.330

SP for one egg = 330/66

= RS.5
