Given :

  • A shopkeeper bought 6 kg of mangoes at Rs 42 per kg.
  • He sold them at a profit of Rs. 130.

To Find :

We have to find the selling priceof the mangoes.

Solution :

We know the formula to calculate the selling price when profit and Cost price ate given.

⟹ S.P = Profit + C.P

Where,

  • C.P is Celling Price
  • S.P is selling price

→ S.P = 130 + 42

→ S.P = 172

⟹ S.P = Rs. 172
