Answer:

He got a profit of 28,800/-

Step-by-step explanation:

The total mobile phones=80

Cost price of the mobiles =5000/-

Mobile phone % seller at 6,500=40%

No.of mobile phones selled at 6,500=40% of 80 mobiles

100%=80

40%=?

=80*40/100

=32 mobiles

Selling price of 32 mobiles=32*6,500

=2,08,000/-

Selling price of remaining phones =4,600

Remaining mobiles =80-32=48

Selling price of the 48 mobiles=48*4,600

=2,20,800/-

Total selling price=2,08,000+2,20,800

=4,28,800/-

Total cost price=5000*80=4,00,000/-

Profit =4,28,800-4,00,000

=28,800/-
