Step-by-step explanation:

the shopkeeper bought perfume for r.s 1200

therefore,cost price=1200

he sold it at a profit of 24%

therefore,profit=24%

now,

profit=24% of 120

=24/100×1200

=288..........(I)

Now,

selling price=cost price+profit

=1200+288......(from I)

=1488

therefore,the selling price of the perfume is 1488 r.s

Answer:

1488

Step-by-step explanation:

cost price = 1200

profit percent = 24%

profit = 1200×24%

                    =24÷100=0.24

                     =1200× 0.24

                     =288

selling price = 1200+288= 1488
