Hi ,
Cost price of the suit case(c.p)= Rs480
Selling price ( sp ) = Rs 540
Gain ( g ) = s.p - c.p
g = Rs 540 - Rs 480
g = Rs 60
gain percentage = ( g × 100 )/c.p
= ( 60 × 100 )/480
= 25/2
= 12.5 %
I hope this helps you.
