5000-6500 = 1500 is the answer

Given:-

A shopkeeper bought table for 5000 Rs and sold it for 6500

To find:-

profit percentage

Solution:-

Here,SP >CP

So, Gain = SP - CP

∴ = 6500-5000

∴ Profit=1500 Rs.

∴  Gain%= \sf \dfrac{Gain}{CP}×100%

∴  \sf \dfrac{1500}{5000}×100%

∴  \sf \dfrac{30}{1} \textsf{=30%}

∴ The shopkeeper makes a profit of 30%
