Thanks for your question...

Your required answer :

Given :

  • Cost Price = Rs. 14500
  • Loss = 20%

To find:

  • Selling Price

Solution :

  = \frac{20}{100} \times 14500 \\ \\ = 20 \times 145 \\ \\ = 2900

He have loss of Rs. 2900.

Now price after loss / selling price -

  • 14500 - 2900
  • Rs. 11600

Selling price = {1 - ( loss percent/100 )} × cost price

Selling price = {1 - ( 20/100 )} × Rs. 14,500

Selling price = {4/5} × Rs. 14,500

Selling price = Rs. 11600

Hence, Selling price of each Air Conditioner is Rs. 11600.
