Step by step:-

Cp= 14500

L=20%

we have,

L%= L/CP * 100%

or, 20%= (CP-SP)/CP * 100%

or, 1/5= (14500-SP)/14500

or, 2900=14500-SP

Solution:-

We know that loss percentage is given by:

\sf \large20\% =  \frac{loss}{14,500}  \times 100

Loss = ₹ 2,900.

∵ Loss = Cost price – Selling price.

2,900 = 14,500 – Selling price.

Selling price = ₹ 11,600.
