Cost price=₹2000

Selling price=₹2500

Profit=sp-cp

=2500-2000=₹500

Profit%= Profit/cp×100

=500/2000×100

=50000/2000

=50/2=25%

Therefore, the gain percent is 25%. Loss percent can't be calculated as the shopkeeper gained money by selling it at a higher price than buying it.

Answer:

cp of an scotter =2000+3000

sp of am scotter = 8000

gain =sp - cp = (8000-5000)= 3000

profit= profit/ cp×100

3000×100/5000

=60%
