CP of 1 pencil = 34/8 = ₹ 4.25 per pencil

SP of 1 pencil = 57/12 = ₹ 4.75 per pencil

Gain per pencil = 4.75-4.25 = ₹ 0.50 per pencil

Gain% = 0.50/4.25 *100 = 11.76%
