Step-by-step explanation:

Cp of rice = Rs. 45000

Cp of 1/9 of rice =1/9÷45000

=5000

Sp of spoiled rice = 70/100*5000

=3500

Now, 45000-3500 = 41500

Sp of good rice = 115/100*41500

=Rs. 47725

Total Cp = Rs. 45000

Total Sp = Rs. ( 47725+3500)

= Rs. 51225

Gain = Sp - Cp

51225 - 45000

=6225

Gain %=10%
