Loss = Cost price - selling price

Loss = rs ( \dfrac{1}{5}  -  \dfrac{1}{6} )

Loss = rs  \dfrac{1}{30}

Loss per cent =

 = ( \dfrac{loss}{cp}  \times 100)\%

 = ( \frac{ \dfrac{1}{30} }{ \dfrac{1}{5} }  \times 100)\%
