Step-by-step explanation:

price at which the other two items should be sold =rs. 607.5 each and the gain percent on these two.items =35_

SOLUTION:

total cost for three items purchased =3×450=1350

sp.of first item =450-(10/100×450)=405

total sp when gained 20%= 1350+(20/100×1350)

price for each of the two of items to gain 20% on the whole transaction=(1620-405)/2=607.5

gain% on the two items = [(1215-900)/900×100)]=35%

Step-by-step explanation:

SP of 1st item = 90 ×450

100

= 81/2 = 40.5

now,

=450-40.5 = 409.5

he should sell other item so

he get 20% profit on whole

transaction= 20 × 900

100

= 180

= 450 +180

= 530 Rs.
