To find -

Find the selling price of 1 article .

Solution -

Here , A shopkeeper buys 100 articles for RS 24000 and sells them for profit of 12% .

So, the initial cost price of 100 articles was Rs. 24000

=> The cost price of 1 article -

=> [ Rs. 24000 ] / [ 100 ]

=> Rs. 240

Now , it is sold for a profit of 12% .

Thus , new CP -

=> ( 112 / 100 ) × 240

=> Rs. 268 . 8 .

This is the required answer .
