Answer:

100 eggs costing   = Rs  250

Broken Eggs   = 10

Remaining eggs  are   =  90 Nos

that means = 7 dozens and four numbers

Sold one dozen  @ the rate  of   Rs 40

7 dozen plus four eggs are sold for    =  Rs  300 /=

So the profit or gains is   =  Rs 300 - 250 =  Rs 50

Ans = Rs 50
