Answer:

₹34.8.

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question we're asked to calculate SP of 1 article where CP of 160 articles is Rs. 4800 with profit 16%.

To solve this question we'll calculate first SP of 160 articles by SP formula. After gettig SP of 160 article, we'll use unitary method to find the SP of 1 article.

CP of 160 articles = Rs. 4800.

Profit = 16%.

By SP formula,

SP = (1+ r/100) × CP

⇒SP = (1+ 16/100) × 4800

⇒SP = (1+ 4/25) × 4800

⇒SP = (29/25) × 4800

⇒SP = 29 × 192

⇒SP = Rs. 5,568.

∴ Selling Price of 160 articles is Rs. 5,568.

Now, using unitary method,

SP of 160 articles = Rs. 5,568

∴ SP of 1 article = 5568/160 = Rs. 34.8.

Hence, selling price of 1 article is Rs. 34.8.
