Let his cost price is Rs.x per quintal

He sells 6 quintals at 15% profit,
8 quintals at 20% profit and
(20-6-8)=6 quintals at 25% profit.

6x × 15/100 + 8x × 20/100 + 6x × 25/100 = 2000

90x + 160x + 150x=200000
400x=200000
x=500

Let,

The CP of wheat per quintal= ₹x

He sells,

6 quintals for 15% profit

PROFIT = 15÷100×6x = 90x÷100

8 quintals for 20% profit

PROFIT = 20÷100×8x = 160x÷100

Remaining (20-(6+8)=6) quintals for 25% profit.

PROFIT= 25÷100×6x = 150x÷100

Total profit amount = ₹2000

Equation:

90x÷100 + 160x÷100+150x÷100=2000

(90x+160x+150x)÷100=2000

400x÷100=2000

400x=2000×100

400x=200000

x=200000÷400

x=500

Therefore,

The cost price of wheat per quintal= ₹500
