1%=1200/100= 12
112%= 12× 112=1344 (sp)
so of 1 article= 1344/40=33.6 rs

Article bought = 40
Profit = 12%
SP = (100+12%)/100×1200
= 112×12
=1344 rupees
40 articles = 1344 rupees
Therefore, 1 article = 1344/40
= 33.6 rupees ANS
