Solutions :-

Given :

Shopkeeper bought 60 dozens eggs at Rs 8.40 per dozen.
Cost Price of 60 Dozens eggs = Rs 8.40 × 60 = Rs 504

5 Dozens eggs are broken.
Remaining eggs = 60 - 5 = 55 dozens eggs.

Find the Selling price of 55 Dozens eggs to get a profit of 10 % :-

S.P = C.P + Profit % of C.P
= 504 + 10% of 504
= 504 + 0.10 × 504
= 504 + 50.4
= 554.4

So, The Selling price of 55 dozens eggs = Rs 554.4
Selling price of 1 Dozen eggs = Rs 554.4/55 = Rs 10.08

Hence,
the Selling price of 1 Dozen eggs to get a profit of 10% is Rs 10.08

here is your answer OK

Each dozen cost ₹8.4
the no of eggs =60dozens
the no eggs broken=5dozens
the cost of 60dozens=8.4×60=₹504
the cost of broken 5dozens=₹42
the no seller dozens=55
profit %=Profit/c.p×100
10%=profit/504×100
profit=50.4
s.p-c.p=50.4
s.p=50.4+504=554.4
554.4/60=selling price of each dozen
=9.24

selled 55dozens only not 60 because 5dozens were broken
