CP of 8 articles = Rs 2400
CP of 1 article = 2400/8 = Rs 300.
Profit = 16% = 300 x 16/100 = Rs 48
Selling Price, SP = CP + Profit
= 300 + 48
= Rs 348.

\underline{\boxed{\bold\blue{Answer}}}

\huge\green{Rs.34.80}

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

\underline{\boxed{\bold\pink{Formula}}}

Profit = CP × % profit

SP = CP + profit

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

\underline{\boxed{\bold\orange{Explanation}}}

\underline\purple{Given}

Percentage of profit = 16%

C.P =2400

There are 80 articles

Profit = CP × % profit

2,400 \times \frac{16}{100}

⇝384

So, SP= CP+profit

⇝2,400+384

⇝2784

SP \: of \: one \: article = \frac {2784}{80}

{\huge{\boxed{\mathcal{\purple{Rs.34.80}}}}}
