A shopkeeper buys 80 articles for ₹2400 and sell them for a profit 16% .Find the selling price of 1 article.

2400=100%
?=16%
2400*16/100=384
=2400+384
=2784
this is so of 80 article now you can fins the rest

 Solution :-

cost price = Rs 2400

profit = 16% of Rs 2400

Rs= 16 /100 *2400

Rs = 16*24 
Rs= 384

Selling price = 2400+384= 2784

selling price of one article = 2784/80

Answer is 34.8
