\bigstar According To Question ;

  • Cost Price of 80 articles is ₹ 2400 and The Profit Percent is 16 %
  • We need to find the Selling Price of All Articles and the Profit

\rule{330}{2}

We know Profit Percent can be calculated by Finding value Selling Price - Cost Price and dividing it by Cost Price or Profit Percent can be calculated by Finding Profit and dividing it by Cost Price (Since Profit = SP - CP)

\longrightarrow\sf{Profit\:Percent = (Selling\: Price - Cost\: Price)/Cost \:Price}

Substitute the values that are known. We know that : Cost Price is 2400 and Profit Percent is 16 % (Values given in Question)

\longrightarrow\sf{16\% = (Selling\: Price - 2400)/2400}

Multiply Both Sides of the Equation by 2400

\longrightarrow\sf{16\%\times 2400 = (Selling\: Price - 2400)/2400\times 2400}

\longrightarrow\sf{16\%\times 2400 = Selling\: Price - 2400}

We know that : \sf{a\% = a/100} . Now Here a = 16. Hence \sf{16\% = 16/100}

\longrightarrow\sf{16/100\times 2400 = Selling\: Price - 2400}

\longrightarrow\sf{16\times 24 = Selling\: Price - 2400}\longrightarrow\sf{384 = Selling\: Price - 2400}

Add 2400 to Both Sides of the Equation

\longrightarrow\sf{384 + 2400 = Selling\: Price - 2400 + 2400}

\boxed{\longrightarrow\sf{Selling\: Price = 384 + 2400 = 2784 }}

We know that : Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

\boxed{\longrightarrow\textsf{Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price = 2784 - 2400 = 284}}

Hence SP of 80 articles is equal to ₹ 2784 and Profit is Equal to ₹ 284
