First we will calculate the CP of one article.

As CP of 80 article is = ₹2400

CP of 1 article = ₹(2400/80)= ₹30

Now lets get started: )

Given:

CP = 30

Profit% = 16%

To find:

SP

Formula used:

  • SP = CP( \frac{100 + \: Profit\%}{100} )

Solution:

Substituting the value of CP and Profit%, from above on the above formula, we get:

SP = 30 ( \frac{100 + 16}{100} )

SP = 30 \times  \frac{116}{100}

SP = 30 \times 1.16

SP = 34.8

And, Hence Selling Price or SP is ₹34.8
